Mr. Oluwole AdefilaOperations Director
Wole Adefila started his career as a Seismologist in the oil and gas industry and in 1992, joined Shell Nigeria. In 12 years with Shell, he worked on various assignments ranging from managing complex seismic field operations to sub-surface development.
Wole joined the Frontier Oil team in 2005 as the Sub-surface Development Manager and rose to the post of Operations Director, a role in which he has the responsibility for the management, coordination and execution of all field operations on Frontier Oil’s Uquo Marginal Field, including a major seismic data acquisition campaign during the turbulent 2006/2007 period in the Niger-Delta.
Wole Adefila obtained a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Ibadan and a M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics from the University of Port Harcourt.
