Mr. Demola AlabiChief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Frontier Oil Limited in 2012, Mr. Alabi was the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investment Banking at Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited where he managed a team responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of raising investment capital as well as financial and strategic advisory transactions.
In a career spanning more than 20 years, Mr. Alabi has occupied various roles in corporate finance, starting with his Associate years at Bank of America Securities in New York where he gained significant financial advisory experience, executing public and private market transactions with a focus on capital raising and M&A activities.
Demola also trained as a Financial Manager and Analyst with Investment Banking and Trust Company Limited (now Stanbic IBTC Bank Limited) where he held roles in the Treasury and Private Wealth Management units. During this period, he developed relevant skills in Money Market & Currency Trading, Product Development, Portfolio Management, Project Management and Business Process Engineering.
He currently oversees the Company’s commercial and finance functions.
Demola Alabi holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
