Chief Odoliyi Lolomari (F.Inst. Pet., FNMGS) – Chairman

Obong Odoliyi Lolomari is a professional Petroleum Engineer with a distinguished career spanning over fifty years in the Nigerian oil and gas industry including thirty-five years with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and associated government organisations. He is a former Group Managing Director of the NNPC and has represented Nigeria at various national and international forums, including the organisationof the petroleum exporting countries (OPEC) and the World Petroleum Congress.

Over the years, Obong Lolomari has served on various committees and corporate boards including the Nigerian Agip Oil Company; the Nigerian Petroleum Refining Company; African Petroleum Plc. (now Forte Oil Plc.) and Unipetrol Nigeria Plc. (now Oando Plc.). Obong Lolomari currently serves on the Boards of Geo-Fluids Plc. and Notore Chemical Industries Limited. Obong Lolomari has a bachelor's degree from the University of London and a Diploma in Oil Technology from Imperial College. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Petroleum, London and the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society.

Obong Lolomari has been a Board Member of Frontier Oil Limited from the Company’s inception.

Engr. Dada Thomas (MNSE, P.Eng) – Chief Executive Officer

Engr. Dada Thomas is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Oil Limited. He has over 37 years of experience in the oil and gas industry majoring chiefly in Process & Facilities Engineering & Project Management. Engr. Thomas worked for 21 years with the Shell Group and managed a variety of increasingly complex engineering projects and general management roles in both Nigeria and Holland before setting up Frontier Oil Ltd.

He resigned from Shell in 1998 to set up Tri-Ocean Nigeria Engineering Ltd., a joint venture between Tri-Ocean Engineering Ltd and Leed Technology Ltd providing engineering and related services to the international oil companies operating in Nigeria. In 2001, with other Nigerian partners he bought out Tri-Ocean Engineering Ltd and re-branded the company as Fairshores Ltd. In 2001 also, Engr Thomas founded frontiroil Limited.

Engr. Thomas is a graduate of Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom and is a registered engineer in Nigeria and Alberta, Canada.

Dr. Victor Koleade – Director

Dr. Koleade’s experience spans a period of more than 44 years in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, including a 26-year career with the Nigeria Agip Oil Company (an ENI subsidiary). He started his career as a Petroleum Engineer in-training and held several other positions, within and outside Nigeria, including Well Site Petroleum Engineer, Drilling Engineer, Completions and Workover Engineer, Production Superintendent, Production Operation Manager, Operations Divisions Manager, Coordinator for East Europe, Russia, Central Asia Area – Production & Development Activities, Business Development General Manager, and many other positions and responsibilities, before retiring from the Nigeria Agip Oil Company as a Board Member.

Dr. Koleade’s other board affiliations include Japaul Oil Maritime Services Plc, VAKT Nigeria Limited (Ltd) and Worldwide Oilfield Services Ltd.

Dr. Koleade, who holds a Bachelors and a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the Milan Engineering University (Polytecnico Di Milano) Italy, has been a Board Member of Frontier Oil Limited from the Company’s inception.

Mr. Akin Aruwajoye – Director

Mr. Akin Aruwajoye’s experience spans a period of more than 38 years in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, including the 35 years he worked in the employ of the Nigeria Agip Oil Company (an ENI subsidiary) where he held several senior supervisory and executive positions in Budget and Planning, Environment & Quality Control, Terminal Operations, Gas Plant Operations, Maintenance, Public & Community Affairs, etc. He retired from the Nigeria Agip Oil Company as the Deputy Managing Director of the company in 2009.

Mr. Aruwajoye’s other board affiliations include Worldwide Oilfield Services Ltd, a maintenance services company which he founded, and Ankor pointe Integrated Limited an integrated geosciences and petroleum engineering company.

Mr. Aruwajoye holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Ibadan and has been on the Board of Frontier Oil Limited since 2009.

Ambassador Solomon Yisa – Director

Ambassador Solomon Yisa’s outstanding career as a civil servant in Niger State spanned over 20 years and culminated in the state’s Executive Council where he held two successive portfolios as Honorable Commissioner for Information,Youth,Sports and Culture and Commissioner for Commerce and Industry. Other posts he held include: Chairman, Niger State Tourism Corporation Board; Member, NYSC National Honors Awards Committee; Chairman, Nigerian Football Authority Fund Raising Committee, Niger State Chapter for USA '94; Chairman, Committee on Poverty Eradication, Niger State; and Chairman, Niger State Social and Community Development Agency (a World Bank assisted programme). Ambassador Yisa became Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Republic of Tanzania and the Seychelles after his tenure as commissioner with the Niger State government.

Ambassador Yisa was recently bestowed with the title of Etan Nupe (Custodian of Nupe History) upon completion of his published work on Nupe Heritage Dictionary. After his voluntary retirement from the civil service, Ambassador Yisa co-founded Admina Communications Limited and Tswagbe Enterprises Limited serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer respectively. He is also a member of the National Institute of Management and the Niger Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture.

Ambassador Yisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and has been a Board Member of Frontier Oil Limited from the Company’s inception.

Mr. Ad’Obe Obe – Director

Mr Obe is a distinguished writer, journalist, editor, TV producer, and radio broadcaster. He has served as Consultant Editor, Daily Graphic Newspaper (Ghana); Editor-in-Chief, Africa Forum Journal, London; Presenter, BBC World Service; Foreign Correspondent, the Guardian Newspaper, London, amongst others. In addition to these roles, Mr Obe is a successful and accomplished agriculturalist & entrepreneur, holding various interests in agriculture and real estate.

He graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the London University and also earned a Masters Degree in Engineering from the Kaulsruche Technical University in Germany.


Engr.(Dr.) David Oluseyi Ige (FNSE, FNIMECHE)  – Director

Dr. David Oluseyi Ige, FNSE, FNIMECHE is a former Group Executive Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He has over 22 years work experience which cuts across Oil & Gas, management consulting and academics in world class organizations such as Accenture, Shell, Nigerian Breweries, NNPC and its subsidiaries or related companies - Nigerian Gas Company (NGC), Nigerian LNG, Brass LNG, OK LNG and the West African Gas Pipeline Company.

His experience spans Exploration, Development and Production of Oil and Natural Gas plus Midstream infrastructure and Downstream disposal of Hydrocarbons. Dr. Ige’s experience also includes corporate strategy, policy formulation, change management and project implementation with broad international exposure with work/project experience from diverse locations including the UK, Norway, USA, Angola and Nigeria. 

He is widely recognised for initiating and developing Nigeria’s first gas master-plan and policy, in response to a major threat to the nation’s energy agenda arising from lack of a viable gas infrastructure.

Engr. (Dr.) Ige is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering (First Class Hons.) from the University Of Lagos, Nigeria. He also holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Cambridge University.  Dr. Ige is happily married with Children.


Mr. Feyisayo Opeyemi Agagu  – Director

Feyisayo Agagu has over a decade of post qualification experience in business development, software design and implementation and project management garnered in various sectors including information technology, oil and gas, finance and maritime.

He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science (1st Class Honors) from Tuskegee University, Alabama, USA and M.Sc. in Software Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, USA.

 Mr. Agagu commenced his career as a Business Development Executive at Transnational Computer Technology, El Segundo, CA and a software developer at Avaya Technologies, Denver, CO before moving back to Nigeria.

He has since then worked at Soft Alliance & Resources where he currently serves as the Executive Director, Business Development and Strategy. SoftAlliance is a systems integrator that has successfully delivered multi-million-dollar automation projects across the West African region with clients that include the Federal Government of Nigeria, Lagos State Government, Oando Group, ECOBANK and Nigerian Ports Authority to name a few.

Mr Agagu also sits on the board of SEPCO - Pacific Power Ltd., owners of the 335mw Omotosho Power Plant, Guarantee Petroleum Ltd., TESAL – a Joint Venture with renowned Tsakos Shipping and SPA Dredging Ltd.

Mr. Agagu joined the Board of Frontier Oil in 2015.


Alhaji A. Bukar (FNSE) – Director

Alhaji Bukar has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Bukar’s career started with the Shell Group as a trainee Facilities Engineer and spans a broad range of engineering and Field Operations management roles which include a variety of onshore and offshore engineering projects in Nigeria, Holland and Australia over a 35-year period (1972-2007).

While at Shell, he served as the Operations Services Manager, for the Western Nigeria assets of Shell, based in Warri. In this position, he was solely responsible for overseeing the daily production of over 500,000 barrels of oil a day and 600mmscf/d of gas supply to the domestic market in the early 2000s. He also worked to develop an approved Shell strategy plan for putting out Associated Gas flares in their Nigerian operation. He retired from Shell as the General Manager, Engineering for all Shell Companies in Nigeria with annual Capital expenditure in excess of US$500million annually.

A successful project manager who saw the delivery of the Sapele and Oben Gas Projects, the East Netherlands Sour Gas and Schoonebeck Oil Redevelopment Projects, the South Forcados Development Project including the Trans-Ramos Trunkline to bring on stream and evacuate 300mbopd, the redevelopment of Forcados Crude Oil Export Terminal, as well as an Operational stint in the Northwest Shelf of Western Australia aboard the Woodside Petroleum managed Cossack Pioneer FPSO.

As a firm believer in the capability of Nigerian Engineers, he promoted and implemented Competence Development and Training Programs to foster professional development of Nigerian Engineers and ensure maximum local content in all aspects of Oil and Gas Field Development and Project delivery. He joined the FOL Uquo JV team in 2007 and retired as the Joint Venture Engineering & Projects Director.

Alhaji Bukar holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Swansea, Wales. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and is registered with COREN.

Alhaji Bukar joined the Board of Frontier Oil Q4 2016.
